EGYM launches digital functionality to help gyms adjust to a post lockdown world

Supplier: eGym

More eGym details
Kerstin Obenauer, Country Director UK, will be one of the webinar hosts
As Governments turn attention to a lockdown exit strategy, the world is bracing itself for a ‘new norm’ where social distancing and heightened hygiene requirements become a part of daily life.

This new status quo presents gym owners and leisure operators with huge challenges but, through the implementation of technology developed as part of EGYM Digital, there is a way forward.

On May 12 at 2pm BST, EGYM will bring operators together from across the world via a webinar. The session will explore the vital role technology is able to play in managing the new post-lockdown environment every gym owner will need to create in order to keep staff and members safe, whilst also remaining financially viable.

The webinar entitled: Conquering the Crisis: How Tech Will Help Gyms Pivot will explore solutions to key issues including; the management of capacity restrictions, session bookings, sanitisation requirements and also how to support a new wave of health-seeking individuals as they begin or progress on their fitness journey.

Over the last few weeks, the EGYM product development team has been working around the clock to develop new features, delivered via EGYM Digital, to support gym owners and leisure operators as they emerge from lockdown and start to rebuild their business. These new features will be launched at this global webinar.

The webinar will be hosted by members of the EGYM global management team including: Christoph Bischoff CRO, Alex Peacock, GM of EGYM DIGITAL and Kerstin Obenauer, Country Director UK.
