SCS Interactive has unveiled its latest product, the Cannonball, which is able to project the rider up to 23ft into a swimming pool.
Exhibiting at IAAPA, the ride is based on the idea of a water cannon with riders said to experience a sensation similar to riding a wave.
The rider gets into the seat and once they are in the correct position, the attendant hits the start button, sending the rider flying into the air on a wave of water.
A sensor and video control system are installed as standard for safety, while operators have the opportunity to install multiple Cannonballs at various heights around a pool.
